  • Farewell to our Safety and Standards Chairman Pat Amore
    Updated On: Sep 06, 2018

As I’m sure you are all aware that in life all good things must eventually come to an end. In the case of the Safety and Standards Chairman’s position at Local 4 that good thing has unfortunately come to an end. Safety and Standards Chairman Pat Amore was recently awarded a bid to TPA and will be leaving Local 4 to become a Local 18 member. Please join the Local 4 LEC in wishing Pat all the best in his new journey and in giving him a huge “Thank You” for his years of selfless service to the members of this Local. It is our hope that Pat continues to serve the members of AMFA and bring the same drive, determination and professionalism that he displayed here at Local 4 to the LEC of Local 18.

In the interim the Local 4 LEC has appointed BWI AMT Johnny Bomaster to serve as the Safety and Standards Chairman until an election can be run for a permanent replacement. Johnny brings a strong background to the position. He had served as the Safety and Standards Chairman on the Local 4 Transition Committee as well as currently serving on the Professional Standards Committee and as a BWI Shop Representative. He will be a great asset to this LEC and we look forward to working with him.

    In Solidarity,

    Your Local 4 LEC
