AMFA Local 4 is calling for nominations for the positions of Vice President, Treasurer, Airline Representative (ALR), and Communications Coordinator. The duties for these positions can be found in Article XVIII of the AMFA Constitution and Article III of the Local 4 Bylaws. Both of these documents can be accessed on the AMFA Local 4 website (www.amfa4.com) under the “Members Resources” tab.
The term of office for these positions will commence on January 2021 and will end January 2023 in accordance with Article IV of the Local 4 bylaws.
The nomination process and election will be conducted in accordance with AMFA’s general election procedures for officers. All Active and Active Associate Members in good standing, free of all assessments and fines to the National and Local are eligible to be nominated for these positions.
Nominations for these positions must be submitted in writing or electronically to Local 4 no later 5:00 PM CDT on October 6, 2020. Nomination forms and instructions for submission can be found on the Local 4 website (www.amfa4.com) under the “Elections and Nominations” tab.
All nominees will be required to verify their candidacy by completing and returning a Willingness to Serve Form, which will be presented to each nominee following the close of the nomination period. Information about the voting process, including the ballot package mailing date and the ballot count date, will be announced following the close of the nomination period.
