Local 4 MDW Safety & Standards Coordinator
Nomination Notice

AMFA Local 4 is calling for nominations from the membership for the position of MDW Safety & Standards Coordinator. As determined by the Local 4 Safety & Standards Chairman, the MDW Safety & Standards Coordinator will serve members located in MDW, MKE, MCI, IND, and STL. Members in these locations will be eligible to nominate and vote for the MDW Safety & Standards Coordinator. Duties of the Safety & Standards Coordinator are outlined in Article V, Section 1 of the Local 4 Bylaws.

The term of this position will be two (2) years, commencing immediately following the election due to the current vacancy, and running through February 2028.

Nominations must be submitted in writing or online to the Local 4 Secretary no later than 5:00 PM CST on August 14, 2026, to be considered valid. Online and paper nomination forms are available on the AMFA Local 4 website at www.amfa4.com under the “Forms” tab. Paper nomination forms may be scanned and emailed to secretary@amfa4.com.

All nominees will be required to verify their candidacy by completing and returning a “Willingness to Serve” form, which will be presented to each nominee following the close of the nomination period. Election and balloting information will be provided to all members after the nomination period closes.
