LOCAL 4 OFFICER ELECTION NOMINATION NOTICE

AMFA Local 4 is accepting nominations for the positions of Local 4 President, Secretary, and Safety and Standards Chairman. The duties for these positions can be found in Article XVIII of the AMFA Constitution and Article III of the Local 4 Bylaws. These documents can be found on the AMFA Local 4 website (www.amfa4.com) under the “Members Resources” tab.

The term of office for these positions will commence January 2024 and will end January 2026

in accordance with Article IV of the Local 4 bylaws.

The nomination process and election will be conducted in accordance with AMFA’s general election procedures for officers. All Active and Active Associate Members in good standing, free of all assessments and fines to the National and Local are eligible to be nominated for these positions.

Nominations for these positions must be submitted in writing or electronically to Local 4 no later than 5:00 PM CST on October 6, 2023. Nomination forms and instructions for submission can be found on the Local 4 website (www.amfa4.com) under the “Elections and Nominations” tab.

All nominees will be required to verify their candidacy by completing and returning a Willingness to Serve Form, which will be presented to each nominee following the close of the nomination period. Information about the voting process, including the ballot package mailing date and the ballot count date, will be announced following the close of the nomination period.
