AMFA NATIONAL CONVENTION DELEGATE NOMINATION NOTICE
AMFA Local 4 is accepting nominations for Delegates (3 Primary, 3 Alternate) to represent AMFA Local 4 at the 2024 AMFA National Convention. The qualifications for Delegates are found in Article XIX, Section 3 of the AMFA Constitution. The AMFA Constitution is available on the AMFA Local 4 website (www.amfa4.com) in the Members Resources area.
The term for these positions will commence on January 1, 2024, and end on December 31, 2025, in accordance with Article XIX, Section 4 of the AMFA Constitution. The National Convention will be held in Austin, TX beginning May 6, 2024.
The nomination process and election will be conducted in accordance with LMRDA rules for elections. All Active and Active Associate Members in good standing and who meet the Constitutional qualifications are eligible to be nominated for these positions.
Nominations for these positions must be submitted in writing or electronically to Local 4 no later than 5:00 PM CST on October 6, 2023. Nominations can be made on the AMFA Local 4 website (www.amfa4.com) under the “Elections/ Nominations” tab.
All nominees will be required to verify their candidacy by completing and returning a Willingness to Serve Form.
