AMFA Local 4 Call for Nominations

AMFA Local 4 is now accepting nominations for the following positions: SWA Airline Representative, L3Harris MAS Airline Representative, Vice President, Treasurer, and Communication Coordinator. The responsibilities for these positions are detailed in Article XVIII of the AMFA Constitution and Article III of the Local 4 Bylaws. These documents are accessible on the AMFA Local 4 website under the “Members Resources” tab.

The elected officers will serve a term beginning in January 2025 and ending in January 2027, as outlined in Article IV of the Local 4 Bylaws. All Active and Active Associate Members in good standing, free from any assessments or fines to the National and Local, are eligible for nomination.

Nominations must be submitted in writing or electronically to Local 4 no later than 5:00 PM CST on September 29, 2024. Nomination forms and submission instructions can be found on the Local 4 website under the “Elections and Nominations” tab. Alternatively, you can click here to access the nomination form directly.

All nominees must verify their candidacy by completing and returning a Willingness to Serve Form, which will be provided after the nomination period closes.

Details about the election process, including the ballot package mailing date and the ballot count date, will be shared after the close of nominations. If only one candidate is nominated for a position, no election will be held, and that candidate will be declared the winner unopposed.
