Re: Upcoming 2024 Local 4 Officer Elections
Dear Members,
We would like to inform you that the nomination period for the 2024 Local 4 Officer Election has officially closed. We appreciate the participation of everyone involved in the process. This year, the officer positions up for election include Vice President, Treasurer, Airline Representative (ALR), and Communications Coordinator.
The following candidates have been successfully nominated:
- Vice President: Mike Sanderson (unopposed)
- Treasurer: Christopher Chakchay (unopposed)
- Communications Coordinator: Scott Van De Motter (unopposed)
- SWA Airline Representative (ALR):
- L3Harris Airline Representative (ALR):
- Sean Askin
- Danny Mountenay
***Candidates running unopposed for the Vice President, Treasurer, and Communications Coordinator positions will not appear on the ballot and are declared winners by acclamation. ***
An election will be held for the Airline Representative (ALR) positions. The voting period for this election will begin on October 18, 2024, and will close on November 1, 2024. Votes for this election will be cast using the ElectionBuddy Inc. system. The election notice and voting instructions will be mailed to eligible voters at the address on file with AMFA. Additionally, emails and SMS/text messages will be sent on the day the voting period starts.
Any eligible member who has not received voting instructions, or anyone having questions about the voting process, should contact the Local 4 Secretary at secretary@amfa4.com no later than October 25, 2024.
