AMFA Local 4 Bylaws Amendment Meeting Notice
Dear Members,
Attached is the recommendation from the Bylaws Committee following its review of the proposed amendments to the Local 4 Bylaws. In accordance with Article XI, Section 2D, the list of proposed amendments is being distributed to the membership one week prior to the scheduled Bylaws meeting. Each proposal has been reviewed in line with Article XI, Sections 2C through 2G, to ensure compliance with the AMFA Constitution and applicable standards. Proposals that met these requirements have been compiled and are included for your review.

Note: The Zoom link for this meeting will be the same as the SWA AMT Contract Proposal Endorsement Meeting scheduled earlier at 09:30 AM CST. If you have already registered for that meeting, you may use the same link.
Meeting Process:
- The Bylaws Committee will present each proposed amendment along with its recommendation (Article XI, Section 2E)
- Members in attendance may discuss and amend each proposal (Article XI, Section 2F)
- Amendments must receive a simple majority vote at the meeting to move forward
- Approved proposals will then be submitted to the full membership for ratification by mail-out ballot
- Adoption requires a two-thirds majority vote (Article XI, Section 2G)
