Subject: Possible Contract Extension Discussions

We wanted to personally inform you that on May 8, 2023, representatives from both Southwest Airlines and the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA) met to consider the potential for contract extension discussions for our Technicians and Related Employees.

The parties have agreed to meet in Dallas on May 31, June 1, and June 2 to further explore the possibility of an extension and to determine if this option is mutually feasible. Both parties are hopeful these discussions will be productive. More information will be shared following this meeting.
